One Month iOS is the easiest way to learn Swift and iOS App Development. Over the course of 30 days, instructor Alfie Hanssen (Lead Mobile Engineer at Vimeo) will teach you how to build an iPhone app from scratch. The project you'll be building is a simple video app using Vimeo's API.
This course was written with Apple computers and OSX in mind. If you are using OSX 10.9 or above, you should be fine. We're working to make our courses more Windows and Linux-friendly, but this course has not been optimized for Windows, and you may run into issues if you're not using a Mac. Through this course, you will be able to learn iOS development at your own pace and be building your own iPhone apps in no time through our in-depth iOS development tutorials.
Have you always wanted to build your own app, but didn't know where to get started?
Have you tried to learn iOS development, but Objective-C was just too much?
Do you have the next great idea for an iPhone app?
Then One Month iOS with Swift is the class is for you.
Up until the release of Swift, all iOS apps had to be written in the notoriously difficult, Objective-C. A language that was introduced in 1983. (Making it a dinosaur in the tech world.)
Do you know what else came out in 1983?
I think you get the idea.
Apple knew Objective-C was dated. They knew it was hard to learn. And they knew they needed something better. Something that would allow anyone to build an iOS app.
In comes Swift.
A modern, approachable programming language that was specifically designed for today's most advanced devices.
Swift is the easiest way for anyone to build an iPhone app. And One Month iOS the easiest way for anyone to learn Swift online.
It's right for just about any level - from beginner to experienced, from entrepreneur to designer and coder. No matter who you are, I guarantee you'll learn something insightful from this Swift course.
