For Becca, learning how to code isn’t about the end game, it’s about the journey. A history major who now works in marketing, she thought it might be too late in the game to learn how to code, but she decided to try it out anyway. Becca’s interest in Ruby on Rails was initially sparked by the developers working at her company. She thought it would be a good idea to understand the language her colleagues use and also start building her own projects, but after taking some introductory classes online, she hit a wall. if you’re excited about figuring something out, it’s easy to make the time for it.Becca couldn't find a class that appealed to an intermediate student, until she came across One Month Rails. She wanted to successfully learn something practical and useful, and was pleasantly surprised that she could also build an app that's useable in just a few weeks. Becca realized that if you’re excited about figuring something out, it’s easy to make the time for it.

What's next?

Becca plans to dive deeper into the world of Ruby on Rails and continue to learn through connecting with other programmers.
