One Month is looking for someone to make our students smile.

Responsibilities

• Communicate daily with a global student base via email, twitter, facebook and screenshares.
• Debug Rails/HTML/CSS/iOS issues and explain the problem in a beginner-friendly way.
• Coordinate partnerships for classes and new products.
• Record screencasts on common issues or concepts to share with students.
• Review course materials for accuracy and ease of use.
• Active involvement in our student community.

Qualifications

• An appetite for knowledge. You should be passionate about learning everything you can.
• Confidence to tackle the unknown head-on. On a daily basis we are forging into new territory and dealing with completely different problems.
• Comfortable speaking and writing English. You will be writing responses to students and recording screencasts on a daily basis.
• Analytical skills. We are a data-driven company and you should feel comfortable drawing conclusions from data.
• Should have an understanding of one of the following technologies: Rails, HTML, CSS, iOS
• Located in NYC or willing to relocate.
• BONUS: We’re education geeks so actively pursuing some form of online education is a plus. You should want to learn a lot in your job.

One Month is a Y Combinator-backed (S13) seed-funded startup building a learning platform that gives people all over the world access to high-quality, affordable education. We’re a team of six, with over 14,000 paid users, and we’re growing fast.
