Rails Developer Job Description
Full-time Rails Developer; work on changing the world through online education.

One Month is a Y Combinator-backed (S13) seed-funded startup looking for a few great engineers to join us in building a learning platform that gives people all over the world access to high-quality, affordable education. We’re a team of four, with over 10,000 paid users, and we’re growing fast.
You love shipping features. You can’t work without multiple external displays and you have keyboard shortcuts for just about everything. The idea of writing code without tests makes you a little uncomfortable. You have experience working solo as well as with a team.
We’re education geeks so actively pursuing some form of online education is a plus. You should want to learn a lot in your job.
- Experience developing large-scale products (over 100,000 users) in various languages, with a preference for Ruby on Rails. (You love convention over configuration and object-oriented design.)
- Be friendly and comfortable talking directly to customers.
- Experience working with another startup before (would be awesome, but not necessary).
